This is the first day of our family vacation in Malaysia. It started with us arriving super early at 4 am at Kuala Lumpur international airport, instead of trying to get a little sleep in the airport we found the nearest and cheapest hotel. We crashed their until around 11am where we headed into the city to start our adventures.

There are so many amazing and cheap things to do in Taipei, and most of them are very accessible for transportation and other languages. Recently, we took a trip to the paper museum in Taipei, and this place did not disappoint especially for my son. At the museum you will find not only young children, but also much older people.

During our time in Kyoto, Japan we were able to experience the amazing Japanese tori of Fushimi Inari-taisha. Even though this place is immensely popular, it is popular for a good reason. The tori here are amazing and remarkable, estimates put the number of tori here at around 32,000. That is just crazy!

We find ourselves frequently at the zoo, there may be some obvious reasons like because we have a son, and it’s cheap, but there are some other reasons like everybody loves animals!
The Taipei Zoo is one of the best zoos in the world! It’s only 60NTD or 2USD which is a complete bargain especially for what you get for that money. The zoo has everything you want and need out of a zoo, and something you don’t get to see much pandas!

A a little over a year me and my family took our first family trip to Japan, we visited Japan for two weeks. During our two weeks in Japan we visited Tokyo and Kyoto. Our time in Kyoto was very relaxed, we wanted to enjoy the natural beauty of the city and its surroundings. Because of that we did not want to spend our days running around doing a million things, but instead to do a few amazing things.
We stumbled upon this amazing place where we could take our son and ourselves to see wild monkeys. This place is very accessible from the center of Kyoto as well. Below are some of our pictures of our trip to the Arashiyama Monkey Park Iwatayama
