Baishawan is located in the north just above Danshui. It is a little hard to get there without your own public transportation, however the effort is worth it.

How to get there: Take the MRT red line to Danshui, from there take bus 622, 623, 862 or North Coast Shuttle Bus. Recommended to use taiwan’s EasyCard (悠遊卡).

Wai Ao

A great place to surf and sit and relax, located in Yilan county. You have a beautiful scenery right next to the mountains and the ocean. If you go during the week there won’t be many people, but on the weekend it can get a little crowded.

How to get there: From Yuanshan MRT station take GuoGuang(King Bus) to Wushigang.

South

Little Bay Beach

This beach in Kending is reminisce of the beaches in Boracay, the waters are crystal clear and the beach is super white.

How to get there:

An Ping Moon Beach

If your in Tainan or around the area be sure to check out this secluded beach in Tainan, the scenery around the area will make you feel like you are not in Taiwan anymore and have been transported the the U.S.

How to get there: From the Tainan City train station either take a taxi or bus 19 or 2.

Islands

One of the many Penghu islands, this beach is just awesome. It is super popular, but it is still great!

How to get there: From the main Penghu island take a short ferry ride to Jibei island.
